Job Description: We are currently seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of (2) years of experience in a similar role and hold a minimum academic qualification of an SSSCE Certificate. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our properties, tenants, and visitors.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct regular patrols of the property to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, unauthorized access, or suspicious activities.
2. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to security threats.
3. Enforce property rules and regulations to maintain order and safety.
4. Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, and take appropriate action as necessary.
5. Provide assistance and support to tenants and visitors as needed.
6. Complete detailed incident reports and documentation of security-related activities.
7. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
8. Perform routine inspections of security equipment and report any malfunctions or deficiencies.
9. Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
10. Participate in training programs and drills to enhance security preparedness.
Requirements:
1. Minimum of (2) years of experience in a similar role.
2. Minimum academic qualification of an SSSCE Certificate.
3. Age specification: 25-45 years.
4. Strong observation and surveillance skills.
5. Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
8. Physical fitness and ability to perform duties such as walking, standing, and lifting.
9. Knowledge of security principles, practices, and procedures.
